Holly Lodge Bed and Breakfast  Accommodation in Windermere, Lake District

Anne and Barry have been at Holly Lodge now for five years. Anne used to be a Primary teacher and Barry was a postman. We both enjoyed working with the public, so thought the Guest House was a good idea!! (And still do!!)

We enjoy walking, which is why we chose to come to the Lake District and we try to get out as much as we can.

Barry enjoys all sports, but especially rugby. We sometimes play a round of golf at Beckside Golf Course, Crook, and recommend it to any golfing enthusiasts who stay here.

We have two children, Laura and Oliver. Laura is a Physiotherapist in Tunbridge Wells and now married to Harry,  and Oliver is a Crime Scene Investigator in Nottingham,  married to Steph in January 2007.

They thought we were both mad when we moved here from Thame, Oxfordshire, but have since decided it was a brilliant move, as they now like to spend their holidays here, free of charge, which they do frequently!

We have been awarded four stars from Visit Britain, which we are very pleased about, and we will continue to give the best service we can.

We are members of The Tourism and Conservation partnership and support their fundraising efforts which enable them to preserve and enhance the natural beauty of the Lake district.

Actually, we have decided that it is time we moved on and settled somewhere in the South, while we are young enough to be employable, so the Guest House is on the market . If you are interested, please contact : www.colliersrobertbarry.com
